UMusic Hotel is scheduled to open on London's Denmark Street between October 1 and December 31, 2026. This will be the first UMusic Hotel in the UK and its second in Europe, following the opening of UMusic Hotel Madrid in 2022.
The new hotel will take over the former 55-bedroom Chateau Denmark, which closed in August of last year. UMusic Hospitality and Lifestyle (UMHL) is partnering with Outernet London for the venture.
The collaboration aims to integrate live performances, nightlife, hospitality, and immersive entertainment within a single cultural district. UMHL will also lead Outernet's programming, drawing from its roster of artists and labels.
Jordi Solé, president of UMHL, stated that Denmark Street holds a significant place in music history and expressed pride in being part of its next chapter. Philip O’Ferrall, Outernet CEO, highlighted music as a driving force for Outernet and emphasized the partnership's ability to connect heritage with platforms reaching mass audiences.
