Officials from Fort Hood confirmed the crash of the AH-64 Apache helicopter. Cliff Coleman, spokesperson for the Bell County sheriff’s office, stated that both occupants died.

A military official, speaking anonymously, informed the Associated Press that the Apache helicopter was on a routine training flight when it crashed. The cause of the crash has not been announced, and Fort Hood’s criminal investigation division is leading the inquiry.
