The US Open is set to offer the biggest prize fund in Grand Slam history, with a total of $108 million (£79.2m) available. This marks a 20% increase compared to last year's prize money.
Singles champions will each receive $5.5 million (£4.03m), representing a 10% increase from 2025. Players eliminated in the first round will take home $140,000 (£102,667), which is $30,000 and 27% more than last year.
The prize pool also includes a $2 million (£1.47m) contribution to a welfare fund, a demand made by leading players. The four Grand Slam tournaments have also announced the formation of a Grand Slam Player Council, another key request from players.
The US Tennis Association (USTA) chief executive, Craig Tiley, described the offer as "a significant first step in a multi-year investment in athletes." The US Open is scheduled to begin on Sunday, 30 August.
