Vogue World will be held in San Francisco next year, according to an announcement from Anna Wintour. In a statement, Wintour described San Francisco as 'a city like none other' and praised its diverse communities, love of the arts, and history of rebelliousness and innovation.
Wintour said the event will 'support San Francisco's creative minds and strengthen the entire ecosystem' and offer another opportunity to show the city is 'on the rise.'
The announcement follows a year in which Vogue has increasingly embraced the tech world. This year's Met Gala was dubbed the 'tech gala' in some quarters, with Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez as lead sponsors, and attendance from Google's Sergey Brin, Mark Zuckerberg, and companies including OpenAI, Meta, and Snap.
