California-based performance and lifestyle brand Vuori's tennis strategy is facing uncertainty following an injury-hit season for their ambassador, Jack Draper. Draper, who was signed by Vuori in August 2025 when he was ranked world No. 5, was forced to withdraw from the 2025 US Open due to an arm injury.
The injury also led to Draper missing Wimbledon in 2026 and ultimately ending his season early. Vuori had initially focused on Draper's recovery and mindset after his initial injury, but paused their approach after his withdrawal from Wimbledon.
While Vuori is a privately owned company, making the impact on sales of their tennis range unknown, the absence of their ambassador during mainstream tennis events means the brand is not part of the conversation. The company's overall trajectory remains positive, with plans for 100 stores by the end of the year and a recent partnership with Tom Holland for their golf range.
