  • Manchester City are anticipated to lodge an appeal today against a Premier League verdict concerning over 100 financial rule breaches.

Wales secured their first win of the Nations League campaign last night, coming from behind to beat Norway 2-1 in Cardiff. The score was level at 1-1 at half-time before Norway's Torbjørn Heggem was sent off 17 seconds into the second half. Neco Williams then scored the winning goal from the resulting free-kick.

In other Nations League action, the Republic of Ireland's 2-2 draw with Austria in Dublin was stopped twice in the first half due to pro-Palestine protests. Tennis balls with Palestine flags were thrown onto the pitch, and a man carrying a Palestine flag invaded the pitch.

Off the pitch, Manchester City are expected to lodge an appeal today against the Premier League's guilty verdict on over 100 charges of breaching financial rules. The verdict was handed down on Tuesday.
