Frank Warren, Tyson Fury's promoter, has stated he is unable to comment on claims that the highly anticipated heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury is likely to be held in the United States. Despite this, Warren confirmed that the fight is set for November.
Reports have suggested New York City's Madison Square Garden has made an offer to host the bout, according to Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn. This comes after earlier discussions about Wembley Stadium in London, which Saudi matchmaker Turki Alalshikh reportedly said would require 2am GMT ring walks.
Warren acknowledged the frustrations of British boxing fans regarding the potential move abroad. He highlighted the record-breaking success of Fury's fight against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium, which he described as the biggest-grossing one-day event there.
Both Joshua, 36, and Fury, 37, were in action in July. Fury defeated 46-year-old Mariusz Wach in seven rounds, while Joshua stopped Kristian Prenga in the second round after being knocked down twice in the first.
