Football icon Wayne Rooney has fuelled speculation about his potential appearance on the 2026 series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! During an interview on This Morning, while promoting his new Disney+ series, Rooney was directly asked about reports suggesting he would enter the jungle.
When host Ben Shephard inquired if he was considering the show, Rooney replied, "No. I've been asked all the time as well, and there's obviously rumours being thrown the last few years, and there's rumours again this year. So you'll have to wait and see." He reportedly smiled sheepishly when Shephard repeated the final part of his answer.
The ITV programme, which first aired in 2002, is scheduled to return in November. Rooney's potential involvement follows his wife, Coleen Rooney, who finished second on the show two years ago.
