Weezer have confirmed a world tour for 2026/2027, titled 'The Gathering', which will include stops in the UK, Europe, North America, and Japan. The tour is in support of their 20th studio record, 'The Gold Album', set for release on August 21.
The extensive trek will begin with a North American leg throughout September and October 2026, with support from The Shins and Silversun Pickups on select dates. Following this, the band will head to Japan in February 2027 for five concerts.
The UK and Ireland leg is scheduled to commence on May 12, 2027, at Dublin's 3Arena. Additional UK performances are planned for Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham, London's Alexandra Palace, and Cardiff. Taking Back Sunday will open for Weezer during the UK and European shows.
Tickets for the UK and European dates will be available for general sale from 10am BST on Friday, August 14. A pre-sale for UK fans will begin on Tuesday, August 11, accessible by pre-ordering Weezer's new album.
Weezer has also released a new single, 'C.E.O.', accompanied by a music video featuring Tony Hawk and Curry Barker. This track follows their recent releases 'Shine Again' and 'We Might as Well be Strangers'.
