West Bromwich Albion mounted a spirited comeback to defeat promotion favourites Burnley 3-1 in the Championship at the Hawthorns. Northern Ireland international Isaac Price was the architect of the victory, scoring twice in the second half and assisting Harry Whitwell's equaliser.
Burnley initially took the lead through an early own goal from Callum Styles in the eighth minute. However, Whitwell levelled the score on 18 minutes, netting his first league goal for Albion.
The second half saw a dominant performance from Albion, with Price putting them ahead in the 46th minute. He then sealed the victory from the penalty spot after Bashir Humphreys fouled Whitwell.
Burnley, playing without injured star striker Zian Flemming amid transfer speculation, were unable to match Albion's intensity in the second half. West Brom's win extends their perfect start to the season, securing their third straight victory across all competitions and placing them second in the early league table behind Millwall on goal difference.
