Which? has released its selection of dehumidifier deals for September 2026, featuring models that have performed well in its lab tests. The consumer champion states it tracks market prices over six months to evaluate deals.
Among the highlighted dehumidifiers is the Ecoair DD1 Classic MK6, a desiccant model suitable for both heated and unheated rooms. Its average price over the past six months was £213, with a cheapest recorded price of £185.
Other deals include the Duux Bora Smart Dehumidifier (DXDH02UK), a refrigerant model designed for larger spaces, which had an average price of £300 and a cheapest price of £209 over the last six months. The Meaco MeacoDry ABC 12L, also a refrigerant type, is noted for its quiet operation at 36dB and is suitable for flats or houses with up to three bedrooms; its average price was £172, with a cheapest price of £150.
The DeLonghi Tasciugo AriaDry Multi DEXD216RF, a newer refrigerant dehumidifier with a laundry mode and air purifier function, had an average price of £329 and a cheapest price of £229 in the past six months.
Which? researcher Patrick Gallagher advises that refrigerant dehumidifiers are generally more energy efficient in normal room temperatures, while desiccant models are more effective in unheated spaces below 10°C. He also suggests choosing a dehumidifier capacity based on room size, household occupancy, and the severity of damp problems.
