Jury deliberations in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial resumed for a fifth day on Wednesday, 2 September 2026. This followed a judge questioning jurors individually after a woman was arrested, accused of filming them as they left the courthouse the previous day.
Dawn Light, 56, of Sutton, Massachusetts, was arraigned on Wednesday at the same courthouse in Plymouth. She was charged with intimidation of a witness, jurors or person furnishing information in connection with criminal proceedings. A not guilty plea was entered on her behalf.
Ms Light was released without bail but was ordered to stay away from the court, the jurors, and any witnesses. Assistant District Attorney Nicole Piacentini stated that Ms Light is accused of filming jurors as they left court, and troopers reportedly found video of jurors in her phone's deleted files folder.
Lindsay Clancy, 36, a former labor and delivery nurse, has pleaded not guilty by reason of lack of criminal responsibility to charges of strangling her three young children in 2023. She does not deny the actions but states postpartum psychosis led to them, while prosecutors argue she knew what she was doing.
