Four colleagues from Xenia Property Group successfully completed the first Deka Ignite team event at Manchester Central, a fitness challenge in support of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The team, comprising Jennifer Brown, Liam Lowe, Jae Manwaring, and Kirsty Johnston, finished the circuit in one hour, two minutes, and 39 seconds.

This completion time was around 27 minutes faster than their 90-minute target. The event involved ten racing and fitness workouts, including a 5km run, weights, rowing, and burpees.

Jennifer Brown, Head of Lettings, stated that the team was excited to participate and push themselves while raising awareness and funds for the cause. Xenia Property Group, which has offices in Sale, Bradford, and Sunderland, plans to continue its fundraising efforts for the MS Society throughout 2026.

The charity holds personal significance for executive director Farrah McWilliam, whose mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at 29. Mark Haymes from the MS Society noted that over 150,000 people in the UK live with MS, with 135 diagnoses each week, and that such support aids research and provides vital guidance.

Why this matters: Support for the MS Society helps fund research and provides vital support and guidance for the more than 150,000 people in the UK living with multiple sclerosis.
