Aidan O’Brien’s Sun Goddess is set to compete in Europe’s richest two-year-old race at the York Ebor Festival, scheduled for 2.25pm. Sun Goddess previously secured a victory in the Group One Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh.
Concerns about rain have been noted for the race. Other contenders include Innichen, trained by Jack Channon, who has won a maiden at Pontefract and a nursery at Nottingham. The Adrian Keatley-trained Thebesthasyetocome, who won on rain-softened ground at Ayr, is also participating.
