A 100-year-old man, Bernard Gilbert, led a flash mob in Worcester city centre, with hundreds of people joining in. Mr Gilbert, known for his dance moves on social media, directed a dance to Roger Miller's song "King of the Road" while wearing a bright red shirt.
The event, held in Cathedral Square, featured members of the Got2Sing choir and residents, and aimed to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK. Fernhill House Care Home stated that participants learned four dances and rehearsed for the event.
Mr Gilbert previously went viral on social media for his dancing at Fernhill House Care Home, where he lives, with his videos reportedly seen over 1.5 million times. He told the BBC in June that he loves dancing and concentrates on what he is doing once on the floor.
