AC/DC's lead guitarist and co-founder, Angus Young, signed a fan's baby at a 'PWR/UP' pop-up event in Toronto earlier this week. This unusual appearance followed the cancellation of the band's scheduled show at Rogers Stadium on Wednesday, September 16.
The band reportedly attended the Toronto 'PWR/UP' event to sign autographs for disappointed ticketholders. Typically, AC/DC members do not show up at these pop-ups, which offer fans access to merchandise, food, drinks, and the chance to interact with Young's guitars.
A video has emerged online showing Young signing the youngster after a fan placed their baby on a table in front of him. Young had previously signed another baby in Argentina earlier this year.
The Toronto show was cancelled "due to damage the venue sustained following a severe weather event." AC/DC stated that "Every effort was made to find potential solutions for the show to move forward in Toronto, but unfortunately we were unable to find an alternative venue that could accommodate everyone."
The 2026 North American 'PWR/UP' tour, which began in July, is scheduled to resume in Winnipeg on Sunday, September 20. Further stops include East Rutherford on September 25 and Philadelphia on September 29.
