Papa Roach has announced they will not be playing their scheduled slot at the Louder Than Life festival. The decision follows a health "emergency" involving the band's bassist, Tobin Esperance.
The band confirmed their withdrawal via social media, stating that Esperance would be unable to perform this weekend after receiving advice from medical professionals. They added that his health is their "immediate concern" and wished everyone at the festival the best.
The cancelled performance would have been Papa Roach's final US date before their European tour, which is set to commence on November 1. The 'Rise Of The Roach' tour will begin at Glasgow's OVO Hydro and include dates in Dublin, Birmingham, Manchester, London, and Cardiff, before continuing across Mainland Europe until December 6.
The band plans to support the CALM mental health charity again in November, with a £1 donation per ticket. Frontman Jacoby Shaddix has previously spoken about the importance of mental health, noting that their song 'Last Resort' was a "cry for help" and that the topic has always been part of their story.
