Adobe tools now available in Slack, integrating with Slackbot

Adobe has announced that its applications, including Photoshop and Premiere, can now be used directly within Slack, integrating with Slackbot.

  • More than 70 Adobe tools are now accessible in Slack through the Adobe for Slack MCP app.
  • The Slackbot integration allows users to describe tasks, and the bot will call the appropriate Adobe tool.
  • This integration is initially available for Slack Business+ and Enterprise+ teams.

Adobe has announced that its creative and productivity applications, such as Firefly, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Premiere, and Acrobat, are now directly accessible within Slack. This integration allows users to interact with these tools via Slack's AI chatbot, Slackbot.

Users can describe their desired actions to Slackbot, which will then activate the relevant Adobe tool to complete the task. Slackbot will also consider the context of conversations, enabling users to transform information from chats or Canvas into PDFs, images, or videos. Assets from previous campaigns or the Creative Cloud library can also be brought into a chat for editing.

Over 70 Adobe tools are becoming available in Slack through the Adobe for Slack MCP app. This integration is currently offered to Slack Business+ and Enterprise+ teams.

Deepti Pradeep, senior director for Agentic AI at Adobe, stated that people are using Adobe's tools in other applications for repeatable workflows, such as batch-editing images or resizing creatives, without leaving the app. Adobe previously introduced a similar integration for ChatGPT last month and plans to launch a Gemini integration soon.
