New York rock group Geese, fronted by 23-year-old Cameron Winter, headlined the opening night of the End of the Road festival in Dorset last Thursday. The band's performance featured songs from their recent album, "Getting Killed," including the track "Taxes."
The album "Getting Killed" has been noted for its reflections on the current state of both the US and the wider world. Winter's lyrics on the album reportedly touch on themes of anxiety and societal pressures.
Beyond the band's work, Winter has also released a solo album, "Heavy Metal," and performed a one-man show at Carnegie Hall in New York. This performance is set to be released as a film directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.
