Albany Lettings has acquired Hadden Rankin Property Management, marking its second acquisition of 2026. This deal strengthens Albany's presence in Edinburgh's private rented sector, following its purchase of LinnMac Property and Investment Letting in March.
Hadden Rankin, with over 20 years of experience, provides property management services to landlords, tenants, and investors in Edinburgh. Albany stated that the acquisition will expand its team and management portfolio while ensuring continuity of service for Hadden Rankin's existing clients.
Michael Mairs, regional director – Scotland at Albany Lettings, commented that Hadden Rankin has built a trusted business with valued client relationships. Ross Hadden and Dorothy Rankin, Hadden Rankin's founders, expressed their belief that the merger represents a positive step for their clients.
