  • Julian Alvarez would reportedly welcome a move to Arsenal this summer if a transfer to Barcelona falls through.
  • Liverpool have been told Real Madrid's Endrick is not for sale and have had two offers for Brighton's Yankuba Minteh rejected.
  • Manchester United target Alejandro Balde wants to remain at Barcelona this summer, despite contact between the clubs.

Julian Alvarez is reportedly open to joining Arsenal this summer, should his desired move to Barcelona not materialise. Reports from Spain indicate that the Atletico Madrid forward has been in contact with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta. Alvarez has reportedly warmed to the idea of joining the Gunners if Atletico refuse to sell him to Barcelona.

Arsenal are seeking to sign a prominent attacker this summer, though Juventus have ruled out forward Kenan Yildiz joining the Premier League champions. Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti has stated that the 21-year-old Turkey international is not for sale.

Elsewhere, Liverpool are facing ongoing frustration in their search for a new winger. The Reds reportedly enquired about Real Madrid forward Endrick, but the Spanish club has made it clear the Brazilian is not for sale or available for loan. Liverpool have also had two offers for Brighton's Yankuba Minteh, including a recent £60m bid, rebuffed. Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly seeking £145m for Bradley Barcola, another Liverpool target, who has been left out of PSG's squad for a third consecutive game.

Manchester United have a £70m deal in place for Brighton's Carlos Baleba, but adding a new left-back remains a priority for Michael Carrick's squad after their 2-0 opening day defeat to Hull. Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde has been considered, with contact between the clubs, but the 22-year-old Spain international reportedly wishes to remain at his boyhood club this summer.
