British sprinting sensation Amy Hunt has continued her impressive form, securing a second-place finish in the women's 200m at the Diamond League meeting in Lausanne. Hunt crossed the finish line in 22.32 seconds, narrowly edging out Nigerian Favour Ofili in a photo finish.
The race was won by American Kayla White, who clocked a time of 22.18 seconds. Former world champion Shericka Jackson pulled up with a leg injury during the race, while two-time Diamond League champion Brittany Brown did not start.
Hunt's performance in Switzerland follows an extraordinary week at the European Championships in Birmingham, where she claimed four gold medals. She made history by becoming the first athlete to win four golds in a single edition of the championships, triumphing in the 100m, 200m, women's 4x100m relay, and mixed 4x100m relay.
