The duo addressed calls for a public-focused series on their podcast, 'Hanging Out With Ant and Dec', stating that ITV should "definitely" consider it.
Ant McPartlin commented that part of the show's appeal is getting to know the contestants, suggesting a civilian version would mirror the experience of programmes like Big Brother, where viewers would develop favourites among unknown participants. Declan Donnelly agreed, calling the idea "great."
Their comments come as casting is underway for the next regular series of I'm A Celebrity, which is anticipated to air in November. ITV has previously explored spin-off formats, including two 'All Stars' versions and the recently announced 'The Wild Frontier', set to air in 2027, which will feature famous faces in the Canadian wilderness.
