Apprentices can now request, download, or share replacement certificates for apprenticeship frameworks online. The Department for Work and Pensions now oversees this guidance.

Apprentices seeking replacement certificates for apprenticeship frameworks can now access an online service to request, download, or share them. This update comes as the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) took over responsibility for this guidance on 1 April 2026.
It is important to note that claims for first certificates for apprenticeship frameworks closed on 1 April 2025. Framework enrolments concluded on 31 July 2020, and the final date for providers or apprentices to apply for framework certification was 31 March 2025, including those on a break in learning.
The Department for Education will no longer provide funding for any framework programme or framework completion payments.
