Aaron John Huxter is remembering his eight-year-old daughter, Olivia-Grace, one year after her death on 8 October 2025. Olivia-Grace died after falling at her school in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Mr Huxter, 33, said his "entire world crumbled from a phone call" when he was informed of his daughter's fall. He was told Olivia-Grace's brain could not recover, and she died at Cardiff's University Hospital of Wales.

The coroner's report is still outstanding, and the exact cause of death is not yet known. Mr Huxter stated he does not blame anyone for her death.

He is now part of a men's bereavement campaign by the charity 2wish, which supports those affected by sudden death in young people. The campaign aims to encourage more open conversations about grief, with Mr Huxter highlighting the difficulties men can face in expressing their feelings.

Olivia-Grace's school is holding an "Olivia-Grace day" celebration, which Mr Huxter and Olivia-Grace's mother, Melanie, will attend.
