Arsenal has reportedly offered 19-year-old Myles Lewis-Skelly to Manchester United as a potential left-back solution. The Gunners are said to be looking to recoup some of the £75m they paid to Newcastle for Bruno Guimarães.
Chelsea has also been made aware of the availability of Lewis-Skelly, who was part of the Premier League-winning squad under Mikel Arteta last season. However, it is unclear if the west London club will pursue a move for the player.
Lewis-Skelly, who made 36 appearances in all competitions in 2025-26, including five league starts, signed a five-year contract last summer. His potential transfer fee is estimated to be in the region of £45m.
This figure falls within the range of Manchester United's summer spending so far, which includes Youri Tielemans's £35m move from Aston Villa and Andrey Santos's £48m arrival from Chelsea, plus £2m in add-ons.
While Newcastle's Lewis Hall remains a prime target for United, Newcastle's new manager, Matthias Jaissle, is reportedly keen to retain the 21-year-old England international after the departures of Guimarães, Sandro Tonali, and Anthony Gordon. RB Leipzig's David Raum is another left-back option United may consider.
