London is set to host the Athlos all-female track and field meet for the first time tonight, Friday 18 September. The event, described as 'the world’s leading all-female track and field meet', will take place at the StoneX Stadium in Barnet, with competition beginning at 7pm BST.
Athlos is a condensed two-hour session featuring one field event and six on the track. Six athletes will compete in each race for a share of a $2.1 million (£1.5 million) prize pot and the Athlos crown. This year's event follows previous editions in New York in 2024 and 2025, with the planned October New York event for 2026 having been cancelled.
Among the athletes scheduled to compete are Paris Olympic gold medallists Gabby Thomas and Sha’Carri Richardson in sprint events, alongside Britons Daryll Neita and Imani Lansiquot. European 1500m champion Georgia Hunter Bell will face Diamond League and Ultimate champion Klaudia Kazimierska in the mile, while Keely Hodgkinson returns to defend her 800m crown.
The event's schedule includes the 100m hurdles at 19:08, the 100m at 19:44, the mile at 20:14, the 400m at 20:36, the 800m at 20:55, and the 200m at 21:11. Viewers can watch the event on BBC iPlayer or YouTube.
