Scotland's women's rugby team has been defeated 30-10 by Australia in the WXV Global Series in Edinburgh, marking their third successive loss in the competition. Despite holding a 10-5 lead at half-time, Scotland could not withstand a strong second-half performance from the Wallaroos.

Australia scored three tries within an eight-minute period after the interval, turning the game around. Samantha Wood, Brianna Hoy, and Faitala Moleko all crossed the try line for Australia, with Wood also converting her own try and adding two penalties.
