Australia responded with a goal from Alessandro Circati in the 28th minute, followed by Connor Metcalfe putting them ahead in the 33rd minute. However, Raphinha converted a penalty for Brazil on the stroke of halftime, levelling the score at 2-2.
The second half saw increased intensity, with a 64th-minute clash between Harry Souttar and Endrick sparking a touchline incident. Brazil then sealed their win with goals from Bruno Guimarães, making it 3-2, and Vinícius Júnior from the spot in the 79th minute.
