A UK orchestral concert tour celebrating the music of Blue Planet 3 has been confirmed for 2027 by the BBC. The tour, titled 'Blue Planet 3 Live In Concert', will feature Hans Zimmer's score, created with Bleeding Fingers Music’s Thom Lukas and Laurentia Editha, performed live by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

The concerts will also include specially curated footage from the new Blue Planet 3 series, displayed on a large Ultra HD LED screen. Executive producer Elizabeth White is set to host the events, offering her perspective on the stories and filmmaking behind the series.

Blue Planet 3 is scheduled to premiere later this year, with Sir David Attenborough narrating the six-part nature documentary. Attenborough has indicated the series will "venture even further" than previous instalments, uncovering more surprising and intelligent underwater life.

The tour dates announced so far for May 2027 include the AO Arena in Manchester on the 21st, Bp Pulse LIVE in Birmingham on the 22nd, and OVO Hydro in Glasgow on the 23rd. A London date is yet to be confirmed, with tickets for the three announced shows becoming available from Friday, October 16.

What this means for you: You can purchase tickets for the 'Blue Planet 3 Live In Concert' tour from Friday, October 16, to experience the score and footage live.
