Bradley Walsh, known for hosting shows such as The Chase, has been revealed as a temporary guest judge for the audition process of Britain's Got Talent. He was seen arriving at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool for auditions alongside Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and social media star KSI.
Simon Cowell is currently undergoing surgery, necessitating his absence from the initial filming. It is believed that Walsh, 66, will only be stepping in for the audition phase, with Cowell, 67, aiming to recover in time to return for the main show.
The official Britain's Got Talent social media channels announced Walsh's role on Monday evening, 12 October, with a humorous clip. Declan Donnelly, who presents the show with Ant McPartlin, also attended the venue.
Cowell has undergone multiple operations in recent years, including surgery for a broken back sustained in an electric bike accident in 2020. His injuries also led to him being replaced by Ashley Banjo during the 2020 season of Britain's Got Talent.
