Rapper Bobby Vylan, whose real name is Pascal Robinson-Foster, will face no further action from the Met Police following an investigation into a “death to the IDF” chant made at a London demonstration.
The investigation began in the spring after Vylan attended an Al Quds Day demonstration on March 15, where he chanted “death, death to the IDF (Israel Defense Forces)”. The Met Police had confirmed they were looking into the matter due to the language used, acknowledging concerns, particularly among London's Jewish communities.
The Met Police stated that “early investigative advice was sought from the Crown Prosecution Service,” and “following consideration of that advice, officers have concluded that no further action will be taken.” This follows a previous investigation by Avon and Somerset Police into a similar chant at Glastonbury 2025, which was dismissed in December with no further action.
Robinson-Foster responded to the update online, stating he would “not be intimidated” and criticised the police's use of resources, suggesting they “do some real work.”
