Bowen Double Sends West Ham Top of Championship

West Ham United have climbed to the top of the Championship table on goal difference following a 3-2 victory over Bolton Wanderers, with captain Jarrod Bowen scoring twice.

West Ham United have moved to the top of the Championship standings on goal difference after a 3-2 win against Bolton Wanderers. Captain Jarrod Bowen was instrumental, scoring twice for the Hammers.

Bowen opened the scoring after 13 minutes. His second goal, 13 minutes from time, secured West Ham's first victory at Bolton in 31 years.

Bolton, who have now lost four successive outings, equalised through Ethan Erhahon and took the lead with a Ruben Rodrigues penalty. However, Konstantinos Mavropanos levelled the score with a header before Bowen completed the comeback.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Southampton defeated Swansea 3-1, while Watford secured a 2-1 win over Preston. Wrexham drew 1-1 with Burnley, and Sheffield United beat Blackburn 2-1. Cardiff's winless start continued with a 1-1 draw against Stoke.
