Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has been voted PFA Player of the Year by his peers for the 2025/26 Premier League season. The Portugal international's record-breaking campaign saw him register 21 assists, the most in Premier League history.
This latest individual honour follows his earlier wins for the Football Writers Association Player of the Year and Premier League Player of the Year awards. Fernandes was crucial in Manchester United's climb to third place, securing their return to the Champions League after a slow start.
The six-man shortlist for the award included Arsenal's David Raya, Declan Rice, and Gabriel Magalhaes, alongside Manchester City's Erling Haaland and Rayan Cherki. Meanwhile, Manchester City's Nico O'Reilly was named the top flight's Young Player of the Year, and City goalscorer Bunny Shaw received the Women's Player of the Year award.
