Chappell Roan has announced a two-night benefit event in Los Angeles aimed at raising money for trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities. The ‘Super Graphic Spectacular’ is scheduled for October 21 and 22 at the Shrine Auditorium.
Roan confirmed on Instagram that the event will include "drag, dance, guests, surprises, and funnnn!!" and that she will deliver a special performance. Proceeds from the shows will benefit the Midwest Princess Project, a charity Roan founded last year, as well as Los Angeles-based organisations supporting these communities.
Fans interested in attending can register for tickets through the official website until 9pm local time on Tuesday, August 11. Successful applicants are expected to receive further information between August 17 and 19.
The Midwest Princess Project was launched last October after Roan raised over $400,000 through her ‘Visions Of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things’ shows. Roan has previously stated that "bringing queer people joy" is a primary reason for her live performances.
