Stockard Channing Makes Directorial Debut at Edinburgh Festival

Veteran actor Stockard Channing, known for roles in 'Grease' and 'The West Wing', is making her directorial debut at the Edinburgh Festival with 'Krapp’s Last Tape'.

Stockard Channing, the 82-year-old actor celebrated for her role as Rizzo in the 1978 film Grease and her Emmy-winning work on The West Wing, is making her directorial debut. She is directing Krapp’s Last Tape at the Edinburgh Festival.

The production is being staged Upstairs at the Roxy until 31 August and is in aid of the Wembley to Soweto Foundation. Channing, who lives in London, also has a new film out, Practical Magic 2.
