The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) has launched a new recruitment campaign today, 22 September 2026, which is inspired by the experiences of its serving officers. The campaign aims to provide potential applicants with a genuine insight into life at the CNC and challenge assumptions about who can succeed in policing.
Developed with current officers, the initiative highlights the many roles, responsibilities, and perspectives that shape their identities both within and beyond policing. Dani Whiting, Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, stated that the campaign gives their people the opportunity to tell their own stories and demonstrates the CNC's commitment to inclusion and opportunity.
Assistant Chief Constable Kerry Smith added that the new recruitment branding aligns talent attraction with the Constabulary's ongoing cultural focus, aiming to build a more inclusive, representative, and high-performing organisation. The campaign will be rolled out across recruitment advertising, social media channels, careers content, and candidate communications in the coming months.
