Crystal Palace have reportedly bolstered their squad with the signing of United States prospect Zavier Gozo from Real Salt Lake. The deal for the 19-year-old forward is reported to be worth $15m (£11.1m).
Gozo has committed to a five-year contract with Palace, though the move is awaiting international clearance. He joined the Real Salt Lake academy in 2021 and made his Major League Soccer debut at 16 in October 2023.
This year, Gozo has been a key player for RSL, netting six goals and providing four assists in their first 16 league matches. His performance earned him a spot in the season's MLS All-Star Game. The Utah-born player has represented the United States at various youth levels, up to under-23s.
He becomes the sixth summer signing for Palace, joining Oscar Mingueza, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Dwight McNeil, Evann Guessand, and Anan Khalaili. The Eagles are set to kick off their Premier League campaign under new head coach Pierre Sage on Saturday against Everton.
