Red Bull's Isack Hadjar is set to miss the upcoming Dutch Grand Prix after sustaining a hand injury during the summer break. The Frenchman is understood to have broken his hand while boxing.
New Zealander Liam Lawson, who typically races for Red Bull's sister team Racing Bulls, will step in to replace Hadjar. This temporary promotion offers Lawson an opportunity after a challenging start to the 2025 season with Red Bull.
Lawson's spot at Racing Bulls will be filled by Japan's Yuki Tsunoda, Red Bull's reserve driver, who was dropped from the main team at the end of last season.
While Red Bull's official guidance states Hadjar is "likely" to miss the race, a source close to the team has confirmed the situation.
This weekend's event at Zandvoort will be the final Dutch Grand Prix, as organisers have stated it is no longer financially viable to host the race after this season.
