Hector, the county chair of Cumbria Young Farmers, married Georgia from a farm in Ravenstonedale village. The wedding ceremony was held in the village church, with the reception taking place on Georgia's family farm.
Over 300 guests were invited to the evening reception. Both Hector and Georgia hold leadership roles within their local Young Farmers groups, an organisation described as an invaluable social network for them.
The wedding incorporated local traditions, including the groomsmen, dressed in tweed, travelling from the farm to the church on straw bales in a trailer pulled by a vintage Massey Ferguson tractor. Another custom saw children tie the churchyard gates closed, only untying them after receiving coins following the service. Young farmers also formed an arch outside the church using decorated hay forks.
The 18th-century St Oswalds church, where the pews face the centre, was decorated with autumnal blooms for the occasion.
