US President Donald Trump arrived in Dublin this morning, 12 September 2026, for a two-day visit to Ireland. He disembarked from Air Force One and was greeted by Tánaiste Simon Harris.
During his visit, President Trump is scheduled to hold talks with Irish President Catherine Connolly and Taoiseach Micheál Martin. He will also play golf at his Doonberg golf course.
The visit coincides with the Irish Open, a major golf tournament taking place at the Doonberg course. President Trump is also expected to speak with American and Irish business leaders at the US ambassador’s official residence at Deerfield.
