David Byrne's 'Who Is The Sky?' tour, which ran from September 2025, is being adapted into a 70mm concert film. Director Brady Corbet, a Golden Globe and BAFTA award winner, captured the hometown concerts in Baltimore.
Byrne's tour featured 13 musicians and was described as blending visual art, storytelling, and music. The artist expressed amazement at the 70mm footage, stating it effectively captures the show's wide-screen visual scope.
Corbet, who previously directed films like 'The Brutalist' and 'Vox Lux', used 8-perf and 15-perf 70mm film to record the performances at The Hippodrome. The film is currently in post-production.
