Local businesswoman Sara Watkins-Schmidt has acquired Complete Estate Agency, a four-branch firm, substantially increasing her footprint in the Devon property market. The acquisition brings 375 managed properties and 23 employees into Watkins-Schmidt’s existing operation, raising her total managed portfolio from 33 to 408 properties.
Complete Estate Agency, which covers residential sales and lettings from branches in Bovey Tracey, Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, and Exeter (Cranbrook), will continue to operate under its current brand. Its four branches and 23 employees will also remain with the business.
Watkins-Schmidt, who entered the agency sector in 2022 and became a Sourced Living franchisee in spring 2024, intends to expand both the sales and lettings aspects of the business throughout Devon. She stated that Complete was the type of business she was seeking, noting its experienced team, established branches, and strong local reputation.
Sourced Living, part of Sourced Property Group, provided support for the acquisition. Stephen Moss, founder and CEO of Sourced Property Group, suggested that acquisitions could become an increasingly vital route for the company's growth.
