Dua Lipa unveils London Literature Festival line-up featuring Patti Smith

Dua Lipa has revealed the line-up for the London Literature Festival, which she is curating at the Southbank Centre. The festival will feature appearances from Patti Smith, Mustafa, and Zadie Smith.

Dua Lipa has announced the full line-up for the London Literature Festival, which she is curating as part of the Southbank Centre's 75th anniversary. The festival, running from Wednesday, October 21 to Sunday, November 1, will feature a range of literary figures including Patti Smith, Mustafa, and Zadie Smith.

Lipa will host several events, including an in-depth conversation with Zadie Smith on Friday, October 23 at 3pm, where they will discuss Smith's debut novel White Teeth and topics such as artistic legacy and the current political climate. On Saturday, October 24 at 8pm, Lipa will speak with Sudanese-Canadian poet Mustafa about his poetry publication NOUR.

Patti Smith is scheduled as a special guest on Sunday, October 25 at 7:30pm, to discuss her memoir Bread Of Angels. Other events include conversations with Nadia Murad and Malorie Blackman, a Translated Fiction Showcase, and an Indie Night celebrating new writers.

Lipa expressed pride in the programme, stating her aim was to create a space bringing together "some of the most exciting writers, poets, and thinkers from around the globe."
