Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin has been discharged from hospital after experiencing a health scare. However, it is not yet clear when he will be able to resume his role with the club.

Goodwin, 44, was admitted to hospital last Thursday after falling ill, causing him to miss United's 4-0 Scottish Premiership victory against Kilmarnock on Saturday. Assistant manager Lee Sharp confirmed that Goodwin is now recovering at home and is awaiting further guidance from doctors.

Sharp will continue to manage the team for their upcoming midweek match against Motherwell. There is currently no indication of when Goodwin might return to his duties.
