Everton are reportedly in talks with Monaco over a potential move for United States striker Folarin Balogun as the club considers a significant overhaul of its attack in the final 36 hours of the transfer window. The 25-year-old, who scored 19 goals for Monaco last season, is unlikely to sign a new deal with the Ligue Un club.
The potential arrival of Balogun could coincide with the departure of 28-year-old Beto, for whom Fiorentina has shown interest. Beto has netted 25 goals in 113 appearances for Everton since joining in 2023.
In other transfer news, Everton are also in discussions with Tottenham regarding separate deals that could see Richarlison return to Merseyside and Iliman Ndiaye move to the London club. Furthermore, progress is being made to bring Jack Grealish back for a second season following his loan, as he is considered surplus to requirements at Manchester City.
The club is also close to securing a right-back, with Kenny Tete from Fulham potentially arriving for around £9m. However, Everton decided against selling teenage midfielder Harrison Armstrong to Nottingham Forest following supporter backlash, a decision manager David Moyes reportedly supported.
