Arsenal star Eberechi Eze is set to debut a new goal celebration after losing a best-of-three EA Sports FC contest to popular YouTuber IShowSpeed. The influencer, who boasts 61.7 million YouTube subscribers, emerged victorious in the gaming showdown.
The agreed-upon celebration for Eze's next goal is a unique combination. It will feature Cristiano Ronaldo's well-known "siuuu" ritual, blended with IShowSpeed's signature bark, a badge tap, and a knee lift.
The decider saw Eze finally play as his own team, Arsenal, after initially choosing Paris St Germain for the opening match. IShowSpeed, playing as Bayern Munich, sealed the contest with a dramatic late winner scored by former Tottenham player Harry Kane.
Initial suggestions for the forfeit included IShowSpeed's cross-arms celebration followed by twerking, which Eze rejected, calling it "berserk." A backflip was also considered but dismissed as Eze stated he did not know how to perform one, leading to the Ronaldo-inspired routine.
