A large fire at a waste facility near Wembley Stadium in north-west London has caused significant disruption to Tube and train services. The London Fire Brigade (LFB) is tackling the blaze at an industrial estate on Hannah Close in Neasden, with 125 firefighters and 20 fire engines deployed.
Transport for London (TfL) has confirmed the entire Metropolitan line is suspended. The Jubilee line is also part shut between Willesden Green and Wembley Park. National Rail has reported delays and cancellations to services to and from London Marylebone due to blocked train lines.
The LFB was alerted to the fire just after 11:30 BST and has advised residents in the area to keep windows and doors shut due to the large amount of smoke. The cause of the blaze, which is affecting an industrial unit approximately 100m by 150m, is currently unknown.
