Five men from Mexico have been charged following the discovery of a methamphetamine lab on remote farmland in North Warwickshire. The men are accused of conspiracy to produce the Class A drug.
The alleged lab was found near the hamlet of Furnace End. The five individuals were arrested on 13 August and subsequently appeared at Coventry Magistrates' Court, where they were remanded into custody.
The National Crime Agency (NCA) led the investigation, with assistance from Warwickshire Police, West Midlands Fire Service, and West Midlands Ambulance Service. The men are due to appear at Warwickshire Crown Court on Thursday.
