Martin Bunney, who previously served as recruitment and acquisitions director for Belvoir Group, has established The Business Acquisitions Group. This new brokerage focuses on acquisitions and business sales within the estate agency sector.
The Business Acquisitions Group aims to support agents by identifying potential acquisition opportunities, facilitating transaction management, and assisting with business resales. Mr Bunney stated that increasing legislation and rising interest rates are leading more independent agents to consider selling their businesses.
During his 13 years at Belvoir Group, Mr Bunney worked with 154 franchisees on acquisitions and 140 on business resales, overseeing transactions with a combined value exceeding £50m. The new company will integrate Mr Bunney's industry experience with AI technology and marketing tools to match buyers with opportunities and support sellers.
